Mi:Skin Training Course Terms & Conditions

Once the order has been placed with us it will be taken that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with any part of these, then you should contact our customer support team at before enrolling and paying for the chosen course.


1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions unless the context otherwise requires:

“Price” means the price of the course, including carriage and packing which is the price set out in the Mi:Skin website for each Course.

“Services” means support and tuition relating to the Mi:Skin course, as described in the company website, to be provided by Mi:Skin , who make available this service, in conjunction with the Enrolment.

“Enrolment” means a sales agreement entered into between you and Mi:Skin for the condition of the enrolment on the terms as set out below.

“Support Period” means up to 1 year from the date of the Enrolment or such other period as we may stipulate in the Materials.

“Mi:Skin” means the company who produce the course(s) as identified on the company website.

“Tutor Support” means “Mi:Skin” or who they select to act as their tutors on your behalf at the time of enrolment, or any change of tutor(s) during the span of the course or enrolment.

“Materials” means course books and all associated learning guides, leaflets and aids with which to learn your course(s).

Singular words shall include the plural and vice versa; all headings are included for expediency only and shall not affect the construction or interpretation of this Enrollment.

2. Payments

2.1 On payment,Mi:Skin Training, agrees to enroll you on to your chosen course for the date you have selected and you agree with the terms as set out below.

2.2 The Price is payable prior to the start date of your course.

2.3 Bookings without accompanying payment are provisional only. Payments can be made in full at the time of booking or the following will apply;

    • If booking 30 days or more before the commencement date of the course then a 25% non-refundable booking fee must be paid to secure your place
    • If booking within 30 days of the commencement date of the course then a 50% non-refundable booking fee must be paid to secure your place, If booking within 10 days of the commencement date of the course then payment must be made in full to secure your place.

2.4 If payment is by invoice then goods will not be dispatched or course attended until all monies requested have been paid. Terms are 30 days from date of invoice or 10 days prior to the commencement date of your course.

2.5 Payments must be made in full no later than 10 days prior to the commencement date of your course. Mi:Skin Training reserves the right to re-allocate the course place to another delegate if fees are not paid in time.

2.6 If a payment plan has been agreed your payments must be made in time, failure to do so will mean the plan will be cancelled and full payment will be due within 14 days.

2.7 Mi:Skin Training reserves the right to alter course fees at any time.

2.8 When booking a course that has a discount offer of 33% or more, full payment must be made at the time of booking. The completed cost of the booking is non-refundable or transferable. Only one discount offer can be used per course.


3. Limitation of liability

3.1 Our liability for direct losses arising out of our negligence (other than in respect of liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence), breach of contract or any other cause of action arising out of or in relationship with the Enrolment Agreement shall be limited to the Price of the course(s).

3.2 We shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss or damage whatsoever (including without
limitation any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity or your liabilities to third parties) which you may suffer arising out of or in connection with the Enrolment Agreement.

3.3 We intend to rely on the written terms set out here. If you require any changes, please ensure you ask for these to be put in writing. In that way, we can avoid any problems surrounding what we, and you, are expected to do.


4. Other terms

4.1 No relaxation or indulgence which we may extend to you, shall affect our rights under these Terms and Conditions.

4.2 If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any court of body of competent jurisdiction to be unenforceable such unenforceability will not affect the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in full force and effect.

4.3 All liabilities or obligations arising under these Terms and Conditions shall be enforceable against you after termination of the Enrollment Agreement.

4.4 You will notify us immediately in writing of any change in the address specified. Any notices required to be served under these Terms and Conditions will be deemed properly served if sent by way of prepaid post to your last known address.

4.5 We may assign our rights under these Terms and Conditions but this will not reduce any guarantees to which you are entitled. You may not assign your rights.

4.6 If your address is in Scotland then the laws of Scotland will apply to these Terms and Conditions, otherwise the laws of England and Wales will apply


5. Cancellation or changes made by you (the learner)

5.1 Due to the limited places available for our courses, the course cost (less the booking fee) is refundable only if a written cancellation is received at our Head Office at least 14 days before the course commencement date.

5.2 We are unable to offer refunds if you want to cancel your training course/qualifications within 13 days of the commencement of the course.

5.3 If you are ill, have an accident or an immediate family bereavement (for example a partner, child, parent, grandparent or sibling) which makes you unable to attend the course, once recovered you may continue on a new course (provided we have written evidence from your doctor or hospital if applicable).

5.4 Should you have to change your course dates for any of the circumstances listed above, then you can change your booking to a future date. With 14 days’ notice we will move your deposit and course to the next available date. There will be an administration charge of £40.00 and we will only move your course date once. If you have purchased your course at a discounted price you will have to pay the difference to the full course price.

5.5 You will not be reimbursed in the event you do not complete the course for any reason whatsoever. Our group prices will be agreed with you at the time of booking and all candidates will need to attend on the agreed date. Failure of any individual to attend will occur additional fees, as per course prices per person.

6. Cancellations by Mi:Skin Training

6.1 Mi:Skin may terminate this agreement at any time and recover all sums due from you if you:

    • do not make payments on time
    • do not carry out your obligations under this agreement
    • If you fail to make any payments due to us we shall no longer have to carry out any of our obligations under this agreement or any other agreement between you and us until you have paid us the outstanding sums in full.

6.2 You may not withhold payment of any invoice or other amount due to us even if you allege you have a claim against us or a right of set off.
6.3 You will only receive your booking fee if we cancel the course you have booked due to low recruitment numbers or any other unforeseen reasons


7. Transferring Courses

7.1 The following charges will apply if you wish to transfer your booking to a later course date:

    • A £40 non-refundable, re-booking fee will be payable
    • If you purchased your course at a discount price you will have to pay the difference to the full course price
    • The choice of course date must be specified at the time of transfer (or this instruction will be considered as a cancellation)
    • The option to transfer can only be used once, after which any movement will be considered as a cancellation. All outstanding invoices will remain due, irrespective of the number of working days’ notice given for the cancellation.
8. Assessments

8.1 All assessments must be completed within 3 months of the course completion date. Assessment fee of £50 is payable if you wish to take the exam or assessment after this time.

8.2 Mi:Skin Training and its employees reserve the right to refuse student assessment if the student is deemed to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and/or exhibiting anti-social behaviour.


9. Complaints Procedure

All complaints are to be set out in writing and sent to Mi:Skin Beauty & Training, Miskin Manor Business Centre, Pendoylan Road, Pontyclun, CF72 8ND


10. Data protection

This privacy statement applies to any personal data you may give to Mi:Skin Training. We collect any personal data you may give us when you begin your course. We will also collect contact details from prospective students. We maintain data on your transactions with us as well as your use of our services.

* Please NOTE: Mi:Skin Training shall not be liable for any failure in the performance of any of its obligations under this agreement caused by factors outside its control.
